The IoD South Awards is an annual awards ceremony that acknowledges excellence in UK businesses. Waters Productions have designed impressive Audio Visual systems and provided technical support for these events 9 years consecutively with 2016 turning out yet another success.

Having a close relationship with the IoD and being first choice for Audio Visual services for a range of events enabled Waters Productions to act quickly and efficiently in designing the right system for the evening and ensuring that the night would not be forgotten by all 180 guests.

 

In this instance, the IoD required an eye-catching and memorable backdrop, multiple high-definition screens for an unbeatable viewing experience, pristine sound quality and the right lighting to create a sense of ambience. Due to a continued close relationship with the event organisers, Waters Productions wanted to create something special for the 2016 Awards.

Assessing all available options, we decided to push the boundaries of what is possible for an event of such size, providing our notorious custom-built “Art Deco” set and staging with the IoD logo, a total of six plasma screens ranging from 50” to 95” in size, a full sound rig including wireless lapels and roaming microphones and some unique lighting to coincide with the style of the Nash Room.

As a finishing touch, we equipped tables with wireless controlled LED lights, table centres and provided music which was synced alongside the evening’s presentations. Two technicians were on hand for the evening to provide first class technical assistance, one for Audio and another for Visual, ensuring that the event ran smoothly and without any issues.

The result was a comprehensive Audio Visual system that not only performed to the highest of standards throughout the event, but also wowed the audience in terms of visuals and sound quality. After the event, the IoD expressed their gratitude for the services provided.
