The Institute of Hospitality have chosen Waters Productions to provide Audio Visual support for a range of events in past years. This year, we provided a full AV equipment setup, rigging and technical support for their Restaurant Manager of the Year event at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.
Waters Productions planned a set up to meet the requirements of the event
After receiving the details from the client, Waters Productions planned a set up to meet the requirements of the event. We provided a our “minicurve” set and screen to ensure the presentation was visible for all guests and wireless microphones were provided to allow contestants in a competition to move freely on stage act out different hospitality scenarios in front of guests.
Our project manager and driver for the event visited the venue
Once our quotation had been approved by the client, our project manager for the event visited the venue to see the loading bay and work out logistics for transporting the equipment to the venue and installing the setup. Our rigging team and technician for the event accessed the room on the Friday before to set up the equipment ready for the following Monday.
A technician arrived early to check the system and meet with the organisers
On the day of the event, a technician arrived early to check the system and meet with the organisers to discuss the running order and any technical requirements. No issues occured throughout the day, guests enjoyed themselves and the organisers and CEO of the Institute of Hospitality thanked the team after the event.
